Are you an Executor or Executrix of an Estate or possibly the Trustee of a family trust?  If so you may need to file additional returns with the IRS or DOR.  Form 706 is the Estate Tax return which lists assets owned by the decedent at his or her date of death.  Based on the over all net value of the Estate, a return may need to be filed.  From 1041 is the form used for income earned by an Estate or Trust.  Depending on the circumstances, returns may also need to be filed.

Here's what you get...

  • We will meet with you to see if any filings are needed.  If so, we will assist you in collecting the relevant data to file a compliant return.  We will also work closely with your attorney or financial adviser during this process.  If you are in need of one of these individuals we have a developed a trusted network of professionals we can highly recommend.
     
  • We will prepare all necessary tax returns for both the Federal and State as well as all K-1 forms for any beneficiaries.  
     
  • If circumstances arise and a Gift Tax Return needs to be filed (Form 709) we will prepare these returns for you as well.    
     
  • Rest assured we are available to answer any questions or deal with any taxing authorities on your behalf, before, during, and after our engagement.
